Permitting Process...

*****“If you are doing Final Roofing Inspections Only*****

Download and Submit Roof Inspection Affidavit to the jurisdiction. You may upload this in Accela, fax to 239-485-5555, email to Inspections@leegov.com, or mail to P.O. Box 398, Fort Myers, Florida 33902, or deliver to the 3rd Floor, room 302, of 1825 Hendry Street in downtown Fort Myers between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm M-F. If you have any questions, please call 239-533-5801. You must also submit for Solid Waste approval by contacting 239-533-8000 before Final Roof inspection. Any questions please reach out to Lee County Building Department.

*****For all other Inspections*****

1. Download the file(s) except the Roof Inspection Affidavit at the bottom of this page.

2. On the Notice to Building Official fill out and notarize the Notice. The final page on the document is only required if we are doing the Plans Review.
Submit the needed documents with the permit request paperwork.

3. Upload the Certificate of Insurance, Qualifications Statement, ICI Resumes, and Duly Authorized Rep documents at the bottom of this page, any plans and affidavits with the permit request paperwork.
